Glass Breathers

A transformer dehumidifier is an air purification device installed at the end of the air intake pipe of oil conservators in transformers and reactors. It effectively filters out dust and moisture from the air, helping to maintain the cleanliness and electrical performance of the transformer oil.

The main body of the dehumidifier consists of a transparent glass cylinder clamped between upper and lower flanges with screws. Depending on customer requirements, the cylinder can be filled with either white silica gel or blue silica gel (desiccant). At the bottom of the dehumidifier, there are oil cups made of cast aluminum or fully transparent double-layer glass, both containing transformer oil.

• Transparent oil cups​ feature dual-breathing functionality, providing both moisture absorption and dust filtration.
• Non-transparent oil cups​ feature single-breathing functionality, offering only moisture absorption.
